Role Summary

  • The Assistant Manager – Logistics is responsible for managing outbound logistics and intra logistics operations, including transportation, dispatch, warehouse stock movements, and customer deliveries.
  • The role ensures efficient, timely, and cost effective logistics execution through effective coordination with internal teams and transport partners while maintaining high service and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage daily outbound logistics operations, ensuring accurate and on time customer deliveries.
  • Oversee intra logistics activities, including warehouse to warehouse stock transfers and internal material movements to support uninterrupted production and inventory availability.
  • Plan and optimize vehicle allocation, transportation schedules, delivery routes, and dispatch activities to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
  • Monitor shipment status, resolve delivery exceptions, and ensure adherence to customer delivery commitments.
  • Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Sales, Procurement, and third party logistics providers to ensure seamless logistics execution.
  • Monitor logistics KPIs and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, service levels, and transportation costs.
  • Maintain accurate logistics documentation, dispatch records, and ERP transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and applicable transportation regulations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics processes and operational performance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in outbound logistics and intra logistics within a UAE based manufacturing company.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of transportation planning, warehouse operations, inventory movement, and distribution management.
  • Hands on experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and problem solving skills with the ability to make data driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to lead logistics operations in a fast paced manufacturing environment while delivering high service levels and operational efficiency.
