- Lead and supervise a team of software engineers in the design and development of mission critical defense applications.
- Define team objectives, assign responsibilities, and track progress against milestones.
- Oversee the full software development lifecycle, ensuring compliance with defense quality standards (NATO AQAP, MIL STD).
- Collaborate with program managers and cross functional leaders to align with program objectives.
- Drive adoption of software best practices, agile methodologies, and continuous improvement.
- Manage integration of software with hardware, RF, radar, and test systems.
- Contribute to technology roadmaps and innovation in embedded systems.
- Ensure robust documentation and support for certification processes.
Requirements
- 8+ years in software engineering, 3+ in leadership roles.
- Strong embedded programming expertise (C/C++), Linux based systems.
- Familiarity with real time programming and communication protocols (TCP/IP, MODBUS, SNMP).
- Proven record in delivering complex defense projects.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Knowledge of military grade documentation and certification processes.
