Role Overview
Lead the newly established India-based Indirect Procurement GSC team.

Role overview
Lead the newly established India-based Indirect Procurement GSC team.
Build and manage a shared services centre supporting contract and catalogue creation across METRO countries.
Serve as the primary interface between the India GSC team and global Indirect Procurement stakeholders.
Set up the team, define ways of working, and grow the function in line with the LUCA programme rollout.
Key responsibilities
- Build the team from scratch, including recruitment, onboarding, role definition, and team structure.
- Own service-level agreements for contract and catalogue creation and supplier enablement services.
- Oversee contract and catalogue creation in SAP Ariba using global templates.
- Govern supplier onboarding, portal management, query resolution, and transaction monitoring.
- Manage request tracking with daily updates and transparency for requesting countries.
- Review quarterly capacity, align staffing with forecasts, and escalate resourcing needs.
- Report monthly KPIs covering accuracy, turnaround times, and supplier adoption.
- Implement process improvements such as self-service portals, automated tracking, and quality checklists.
- Drive electronic transactions across the supplier base.
