Role Overview
Provide academic, laboratory, and instructional support across multiple Mechanical Engineering courses.
Support theory-to-practice integration through problem sets, active-learning exercises, and laboratory activities.
Teaching and Tutorial Support
- Conduct tutorials, recitations, problem-solving sessions, and guided practice.
- Hold regular office hours and clarify lecture materials for students.
- Attend selected lectures and coordinate with course instructors.
Laboratory Demonstration and Management
- Set up, operate, manage, and maintain laboratory equipment and resources.
- Conduct demonstrations and support safe student experiments.
- Prepare manuals, problem sheets, handouts, instructions, and active-learning laboratory tools.
- Maintain laboratory safety, inventory, and readiness for teaching.
Assessment and Course Administration
- Assist with grading assignments, quizzes, and laboratory reports accurately and confidentially.
- Maintain Blackboard grade records and update instructors.
