About the Role
Aldar Academies are seeking a Teacher of Primary (PYP) for Bateen World Academy commencing in the 2026/2027 academic year. Located in the center of the city of Abu Dhabi, Bateen.

- Plan for outstanding teaching and learning in line with school's Teaching and Learning Policy
- Create a climate for learning conducive to outstanding practice
- Identify clear teaching and learning objectives and set targets
- Identify SEN, EAL and G&T students and ensure their needs are met through differentiation
- Make effective use of assessment for learning and performance data
- Maintain discipline in accordance with school's Behaviour for Learning Policy
- Mark students' work at least once every two weeks and set targets for progress
- Assess and record students' progress systematically
- Prepare and present informative reports to parents
- Contribute to school's CAS Programme by leading/supporting one after school activity per term
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education
- Minimum 2 years teaching experience
- Very good/outstanding teaching record
- Experience teaching across ability range with proven success
- Experience of teaching PYP or British curriculum
- Clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check

Overview

Minimum Qualifications
