- Teach all areas of the Primary English National Curriculum
- Organise classroom, learning resources and create displays to encourage a positive learning environment
- Provide support and interventions for students with EAL or additional learning needs
- Take responsibility for the attainment and progress of a class of children
- Meet requirements for assessment and recording of pupils' development using Learning Ladders
- Provide regular feedback to parents and carers on student progress at Parent Teacher Conferences
- Follow the school behaviour management policy and promote TRACK Values
- Work as part of a curriculum action group supporting planning, assessment, resources and special events
- Support organising and taking part in school events, outings and activities
- Run a weekly ECA each term

Minimum Qualifications

Teaching and Learning
- Teach all areas of the Primary English National Curriculum.
- Organise classroom, learning resources and create displays to encourage a positive learning environment.
- Provide support and interventions for students with EAL or who have additional learning needs.
- Meet with other professionals such as speech and language therapists, occupational therapists and educational psychologists, if required.
- Contribute to the development of teaching and learning across the school by sharing best practice.
- Demonstrate effective use of technology through innovative and creative lesson delivery.
Assessment and Data
- Take responsibility for the attainment and progress of a class of children to ensure they reach above expected expectations.
- Meet requirements for assessment and recording of pupils' development using Learning Ladders.
- Provide regular feedback to parents and carers on student progress at Parent Teacher Conferences and other meetings.
Behaviour Management and Duties
- Follow the Mamoura British Academy behaviour management policy and promote the TRACK Values.
- Ensure any concerns relating to behaviour & Safeguarding are accurately followed up and logged on CPOMS.
Wider Professional Responsibilities
- Work as part of a curriculum action group, supporting planning, assessment, resources and special events.
- Support organising and taking part in school events, outings and activities which may take place at weekends or in the evening.
- Run a weekly ECA each term to enhance the provision for students.
