Job Description for Teacher

Key Duties
- Ensure children are safe and well cared for at all times
- Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons
- Ensure effective communication and direct work of others
- Lead CAS activities and participate in staff training
- Comply with agreed policies and Aquila Ways
- Actively engage with school community through newsletters, reporting, etc.
- Participate in performance management process
Additional Duties
- Ensure teaching and learning are of highest standard and personalised
- Ensure school maintains positive and respectful ethos
- Ensure curriculum is inclusive and learner led
- Communicate with families about learning and school issues
Hours of Work
- 7:25am 4:15pm Monday to Thursday, 7:25am 12 noon on Fridays
- Occasional evening and weekend work
