About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Associate or Manager to join our Indirect Tax Practice in Dubai.
This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in Value-Added Tax (VAT), particularly within the financial services and insurance (FSI) sector.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering complex VAT advisory and implementation projects for a diverse portfolio of clients, including banks, financial institutions, insurance and reinsurance providers, and investment funds.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage large-scale VAT engagements across the FSI sector, ensuring high-quality delivery and client satisfaction.
- Provide strategic VAT advice tailored to the unique regulatory and operational challenges of financial and insurance clients.
- Leverage deep knowledge of EU VAT frameworks to support cross-border projects and ensure compliance with international standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement VAT solutions that align with clients’ business objectives.
- Coach and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance.
- Embrace and promote the use of technology and innovation to enhance service delivery and client outcomes.
- Uphold the firm’s professional and ethical standards, including compliance with PwC’s code of conduct and independence requirements.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in VAT advisory and compliance within the financial services and insurance sectors.
- Demonstrated expertise in EU VAT legislation and its application to FSI clients.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to drive initiatives from planning through execution.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of building trusted client relationships.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and contribute to the growth of the practice.
