Overview
Walkers Global seeks a Systems Support Analyst to provide IT support and manage the IT Helpdesk. The role involves supporting users with computer issues, installing and maintaining software, and assisting with hardware installation and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Provide support for users with computer issues
- Respond to IT service desk phone and email requests
- Log, manage and prioritise ServiceNow incidents and service requests, ensuring accurate categorisation, assignment, escalation and adherence to agreed service level agreements (SLAs)
- Use and configure available tools to manage the deployment of applications and patches
- Install and configure Microsoft Office and other applications
- Perform preventative maintenance to optimise systems' security, reliability and performance
- Assist users with the establishment of audio and videoconference calls
- Deploy smartphones and other mobile devices and support their users
- Liaise with telephone service providers
- Assist with the installation of computer hardware
- Assist with occasional hardware repairs, maintenance and upgrades
- Arrange the replacement/repair of faulty items that are covered under warranty agreements with nominated vendors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an IT related discipline or equivalent and relevant experience in a similar systems support role
