About the Position
Persistent Systems is seeking a Systems Operations Engineer to provide production support for business-critical digital banking applications.
The role is L2/L3 production support in a 24x7 environment and is based in Hyderabad.
The stated experience requirement is 5–8 years, with full-time employment.
What You'll Do
- Provide L2/L3 production support for banking and enterprise applications and resolve incidents within SLA timelines.
- Monitor application health, performance, availability, operational metrics, logs, and alerts.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive and corrective actions.
- Support GCP-hosted applications, platform infrastructure, traffic routing, load balancing, DNS, and network troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with Development, Infrastructure, Middleware, Database, and Cloud teams.
- Support deployments, release validations, production changes, on-call rotations, and major incident management.
- Maintain documentation, troubleshooting guides, and support runbooks while driving reliability improvements.
Expertise You'll Bring
- 5–8 years of experience in Production Support, Systems Operations, or Application Support roles.
