About the Role

Responsibilities
- Assess current ZATCA systems and database operational model, identify gaps and challenges
- Gather business needs, oversee the development of databases design, review and finalize database capacity plans
- Perform daily operations of ZATCA systems and databases to maintain optimal performance
- Oversee all daily work activities of systems and database operations, assess feasibility of automation
- Develop maintenance implementation plans and implement necessary maintenance activities
- Receive and review change requests related to IT systems and database
- Receive and prioritize systems/database incidents and escalated tickets
- Monitor and assess performance, health and safety of IT systems and databases
- Review Systems and Database Operations performance reports, analyze against KPIs
- Train junior staff on different job activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience

Purpose of Job
- Jobholders at this level are experienced professionals capable of conducting work with general directions. They are primarily concerned with developing solutions to challenges which require some analysis to understand and resolve, and addressing issues escalated from junior levels.
Systems & Database Operations and Performance Management
- Assess current ZATCA systems and database operational model, identify gaps and challenges to define IT systems and database operations areas of improvement
- Gather business needs, oversee the development of databases design, review and finalize database capacity plans
- Collect needed operational inputs, perform daily operations of ZATCA systems and databases to maintain the best operational performance
- Oversee all daily work activities of systems and database operations, assess the feasibility of automation to build scripts automating the daily operations
- Develop maintenance implementation plans based on technical needs, and implement the necessary maintenance activities
- Receive and review change requests related to IT systems and database, monitor the implementation of the requests
- Receive and prioritize systems/database incidents and escalated tickets, to ensure troubleshooting and technical support activities are conducted timely
- Monitor and assess the performance, health and safety of IT systems and databases, recommend performance and hardware improvements
- Review Systems and Database Operations performance reports, analyze actual performance against set KPIs
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent is required
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
