The role is described as a Data and AI Project Lead.
The position owns delivery of Data, Analytics, Governance, and AI-related initiatives aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Own project delivery end to end, including planning, execution, governance, and closure.
- Manage stakeholders across business units, IT teams, and external partners.
- Drive Agile governance through sprint planning, backlog management, and progress tracking in Jira.
- Facilitate Project Review Working Groups with timely updates, risk mitigation, and decision-making.
- Coordinate vendors and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Monitor dependencies, risks, issues, and escalations across multiple workstreams.
- Deliver Data, Analytics, Governance, and AI-related initiatives aligned with business objectives.
Required Skills and Experience
- At least 12 years of experience managing large-scale Data and AI projects, preferably within banking or financial services.
- Strong technical understanding of data platforms, analytics ecosystems, and AI-driven solutions.
- Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and deliver programs under tight timelines.
- Hands-on expertise in Agile project management, Jira, and collaboration tools.
- Strong communication, leadership, and vendor-management skills.
- GCC and/or Qatar banking experience is highly desirable.
Evaluation Criteria
- Relevance and depth of Data, Analytics, and AI project experience.
- Demonstrated leadership in large-scale and complex transformation programs.
- Banking or financial services domain exposure, preferably within Qatar or the GCC.
- Hands-on experience with Agile delivery methodologies and Jira.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and vendors effectively.
- Availability to support immediate project timelines.
