About The Role
We are hiring 3 System Specialists to provide technical assistance, maintenance, and support for computer systems, software, and hardware environments.
You will be responsible for administration, internal support, and ensuring high availability and security across on-premise and cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- *System Administration*
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and enterprise applications
- Support all business servers (back-end and front-end) in cluster/load-balanced environments
- Evaluate, test, and deploy infrastructure component hot fixes, service packs, and upgrades; perform timely workstation, server, and hardware patching based on company policy
- Audit automated daily backup operations, test backup efficiency, and perform manual backup/restore as required (familiar with Veeam backup — backup jobs, granular/full OS/application restores, storage monitoring)
- Ensure "High Availability" and 24x7 system uptime; plan all downtime according to change management process
- Troubleshoot event viewer errors, hardware errors, and audit trails; monitor and improve system performance and reliability
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly activity reports; maintain inventory of all datacenter equipment, cloud assets, software, and licenses
*Windows & Active Directory*
- Expert knowledge of DNS, DHCP, Print Server, Cluster, Group Policy, NTP, FSMO roles, ADSI Edit, and Active Directory
- Assign users and computers to proper groups in Active Directory; manage AD Connect and SMTP Server configurations
- Well-versed in best practices for server hardening and security policies in collaboration with the Security Admin
- *Virtualization*
- Expert knowledge of server virtualization using Hyper-V and VMware; configure failover systems for each service and application; monitor and update performance
- *Microsoft Office 365*
- Manage Exchange Online, mailboxes, shared mailboxes, groups, licenses, and PST backup/import
- Administer Exchange Admin Center, Office 365 Security & Compliance, Microsoft Teams Admin Center, SharePoint Admin Center, Microsoft Stream, and Protection.office.com
- Configure anti-spam solutions for mail services; manage SMTP Relay and known security issues
- *Microsoft Azure Cloud*
- Create and manage VMs with proper rights control; manage Azure Active Directory, resource groups, storage accounts, and Virtual Networks
- Assign roles and administrators at device, user, and resource levels; manage sign-in monitoring and audit logs
- Administer Azure cloud app security, Microsoft 365 Compliance, Microsoft 365 Defender, Azure Key Vault, and Storage Encryption
- Manage identity and access with Azure Active Directory (AAD), RBAC, and Conditional Access Policies
- *Google Cloud*
- Deploy and manage VMs, Buckets, File Store, VPC, and Load Balancers; define and enforce IAM access policies
- Implement backup strategies for databases and storage; configure failover and high availability solutions
- Perform disaster recovery tests and ensure business continuity
- *Support & Collaboration*
- Support purchasing of hardware and software; assist in preparing RFP technical specifications and evaluating IT projects
- Report to management to escalate issues, provide security system performance reports, and recommend policy improvements
- Collaborate with work teams using ITIL process; advise clients and resolve issues
Qualifications & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 7–10 years of experience as a System Specialist
- **Preferred (not mandatory):**
- Microsoft Certified System Administrator, Microsoft Office 365, Google Cloud Certified, ITILv4
