An SMT specialist operates, maintains, and troubleshoots Surface Mount Technology (SMT) assembly equipment to produce electronic circuit boards with precision.

include setting up SMT machines like pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, and screen printers, performing quality inspections, and resolving defects.

This role requires strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, knowledge of electronics, and the ability to collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to ensure efficient and high-quality production.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing and maintaining programs for Fuji Equipment, operation and maintenance of automated equipment used to assemble electronic PC boards.
• Performs programming of various types of equipment such as automated placement Fuji (NXT, AIMEX), wave solder, screen printers, AOI, re-flow ovens, and those used in product assembly.
• Performs in-process quality inspections and use tolls like Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI) to identify and address defects in components and assembled circuit boards.
