Role Overview
The Surface and Ground Water Engineer coordinates all works within the surface and ground water scope.
Responsibilities
- Understand gravity network operability and achieve monthly operational KPIs.
- Plan, supervise, and review inspections, assessments, and repair assessments.
- Plan preventive maintenance and track monthly completion against SLAs.
- Manage the budget, monitor expenditures, and meet economic objectives.
- Assign, supervise, review, and evaluate staff work and provide required resources.
- Evaluate work methods and operations.
- Coordinate reports on work performed and equipment utilization.
- Coordinate with planning and other services and respond to public complaints and emergencies.
- Conduct staff meetings, communicate expectations, provide motivation, and recognize employees.
- Ensure safe work methods, safety precautions, equipment use, and safety meetings.
Experience and Education
- More than 10 years of relevant experience.
- In-depth background in gravity networks, surface and ground water, KPIs, and network maintenance.
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- UPDA registration or ability to obtain it during the year for an engineering degree holder.
- English language capability.
Workplace
- The job location is Doha, Qatar.
- Work location is in person.
Compensation
- The posting states pay from QAR 1.00 per month.
