Key Responsibilities
- Execute and develop safety practices and procedures, including implementation of Project HSE plan, task analysis, and evaluation of hazardous and risk conditions
- Implement HSE rules to all stakeholders on site
- Coordinate weekly safety inspections and manage HSE deliverables
- Conduct safety training and induction as per project needs
- Prepare HSE reports and manage, report, and record incident/accident near misses
- Ensure project and stakeholders’ compliance with QCS 2014 and the project HSE Plan and all other relevant guidelines, standards, and contractual requirements
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5 years of relevant experience in wastewater plants, pumping stations, or similar
- Knowledge of NEBOSH/ESHBOSH, Firefighting, and other related HSE activities
- Knowledge and sound practice of first aid, emergency preparedness, and risk evaluation
- Ability to resolve issues and make good judgments
- Ability to work under pressure with self-control and manage conflicts
- Ability to conduct group training programs and presentations
Qualifications
- Diploma and with NEBOSH IGC/L3 Certificate or fire Safety from a recognized, IOSH, OSHA
