Responsibilities
- Develop Asset Management Plans that identify future investments addressing performance or capacity shortfalls over five years.
- Liaise with Operations to assess and prioritize O&M asset investment needs and contribute to annual investment plans.
- Gather investment needs statements and provide robust evidence for investment priorities.
- Carry out asset adoption risk reviews and investment analyses before formal handover from third parties.
- Complete inventory, condition, and risk reviews before asset adoption, transfer, or disposal.
- Provide asset performance, condition, and trend analysis and track KPI and SLA performance against O&M plans.
- Identify non-compliance and propose high-level solutions.
- Assess how legislation, demand, and asset integration affect asset performance and utilization and identify investment needs.
- Undertake site visits for issue resolution, data verification, and checks.
- Follow health and safety policies, procedures, and new work instructions.
Experience and Education
- At least five years of experience in the water or wastewater utility sector, including experience in an asset planning environment.
- Knowledge and experience of asset lifecycle planning is preferred.
- In-depth experience with at least one listed asset group, including pumping stations, wastewater networks, surface water networks, treatment works, or recycled water networks, is preferred.
- Experience with production and operational planning processes, ERP planning tools, and asset risk and financial analysis is preferred.
- Microsoft Office 365 experience is preferred.
- A bachelor's degree in engineering or a relevant subject is required.
- Chartered membership of IAM, CIWEM, ICE, or an equivalent professional body is preferred.
- UPDA registration or obtaining it during the year is required for engineering degree holders.
- English is the stated job language.

Pay
