The role manages and strengthens end-to-end supply chain operations across trading and manufacturing businesses in the UAE.
The position covers procurement, demand planning, inventory, warehousing, logistics, distribution, imports, and supply chain team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, demand planning, inventory, warehousing, logistics, and distribution.
- Develop inventory planning and replenishment strategies across branches and warehouses.
- Coordinate with suppliers, procurement teams, warehouses, sales teams, and operations to ensure timely material availability and movement.
- Monitor stock movement and slow-moving or non-moving inventory, and recommend corrective actions.
- Improve processes to reduce lead times, control costs, and increase operational efficiency.
- Manage supplier performance, delivery schedules, and supply-related risks.
- Support import, shipping, customs clearance, and local logistics activities.
- Establish and monitor supply chain KPIs and provide regular management reports.
- Lead and develop the supply chain team across different business units.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 7-10 years of relevant supply chain experience, including strong UAE experience.
- Experience in building materials, trading, manufacturing, construction-related products, or a similar industry is highly preferred.
- An MBA or master's degree in supply chain management, operations, or logistics is an advantage.
- CIPS, CSCP, CPIM, or an equivalent professional certification is an advantage.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management, demand planning, warehousing, and logistics.
- Good understanding of UAE import procedures, shipping, customs clearance, and local distribution.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Good working knowledge of ERP systems and supply chain reporting tools.
