Role Overview

The employer is seeking an analytical, proactive, and structured Supply Chain Coordinator, Procurement Executive, or Purchasing Executive.

This mid-level role focuses on material planning, vendor sourcing, purchasing execution, inventory replenishment, logistics, and supplier performance.

The role works with supply chain managers, procurement leads, warehouse operations, logistics partners, and finance teams.

Supply Chain and Procurement

  • Optimize material planning and align purchasing execution with inventory demand and operational schedules.
  • Manage purchase order flows, purchase requisition verification, order tracking, and delivery validation.
  • Monitor inventory replenishment triggers and evaluate vendor performance.
  • Evaluate supplier quotations, negotiate pricing and payment terms, and execute RFQ/RFP cycles.
  • Analyze lead-time variations and mitigate supply disruption risks.

Logistics and Compliance

  • Track international and domestic shipments and coordinate inbound and outbound logistics operations.
  • Manage freight forwarders, customs documentation, and cross-border shipping compliance.
  • Verify three-way invoice matching.
  • Monitor import and export regulations, Incoterms, bill of lading checks, and customs clearing documentation.

Supplier and Data Management

  • Track vendor KPIs including OTIF delivery, quality non-conformance rates, and SLA adherence.
  • Use spreadsheets for spend analysis, stock analysis, lead-time analysis, and replenishment modeling.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, freight agents, warehouse managers, and internal finance teams to resolve bottlenecks.

Education and Certifications

  • A Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • APICS CSCP, APICS CPIM, or CIPS certifications are advantageous.

Supply Chain and Procurement Knowledge

  • Strong functional knowledge of supply chain planning, inventory management, freight forwarding, customs documentation, and inbound and outbound logistics is required.
  • Practical end-to-end Procure-to-Pay experience is required.
  • The role requires supplier sourcing, commercial negotiation, RFQ/RFP execution, and market cost benchmarking capability.

Systems and Analytical Skills

  • Hands-on experience with ERP modules and inventory platforms is required.
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, and replenishment modeling, are required.
  • The role requires supplier KPI management, trade compliance knowledge, and cross-functional communication.
