Role Description
The Supply Chain Assistant supports daily supply chain, logistics, inventory, and procurement activities.
The role coordinates information and operational tasks across suppliers, procurement, warehouses, logistics providers, and internal teams.
The position helps ensure the timely and efficient flow of products and materials.
Responsibilities
- Monitor inventory levels, track purchase orders and shipments, and update supply chain systems.
- Prepare reports, maintain accurate records, and coordinate delivery schedules.
- Support demand and replenishment planning and identify delays, discrepancies, delivery issues, and operational risks.
- Communicate updates to stakeholders and support timely resolution of supply chain issues.
- Maintain supplier and product data, assist with process improvements, and follow established procedures.
Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Basic understanding of supply chain operations, procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and logistics.
- Strong organizational, time-management, analytical, numerical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet tools.
- Familiarity with relevant enterprise, inventory, procurement, warehouse, or supply chain systems is preferred.
- Ability to maintain accurate records, follow procedures, and work collaboratively in a changing environment.
