Role Overview
Steel King Industries is seeking a detail-oriented Supplier Operations Specialist to support supplier operations and coordination between suppliers and internal business functions.
The role covers supplier administration, order coordination, performance monitoring, documentation, and operational process management.
Supplier and Order Operations
- Manage supplier information, requests, onboarding, document collection, purchase orders, product data, and operational records.
- Follow up on product availability, pricing, quantities, lead times, order confirmations, and delivery schedules.
- Track orders, follow up on deliveries, resolve supplier issues, and coordinate product or commercial updates.
- Ensure supplier information is accurate, complete, and communicated to relevant stakeholders on time.
Performance and Process Improvement
- Monitor supplier delivery, quality, responsiveness, compliance, service levels, and operational reliability.
- Prepare supplier reports, performance summaries, operational updates, dashboards, and supporting documentation.
- Identify recurring supplier issues, coordinate corrective actions, and improve standardized procedures and communication.
- Work with procurement, purchasing, finance, quality, warehouse, logistics, inventory, operations, and suppliers.
