Position Summary
Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to computer software and systems.
Provide technical guidance, recommendations, and process improvements to address business needs.
Support applications, user accounts, telecommunications, client/server systems, and related operations.
Technical Responsibilities
- Operate computer and peripheral equipment by entering commands and activating controls.
- Maintain records of data communication transactions, problems, remedial actions, and installation activities.
- Train users in the proper use of hardware and software.
- Coordinate telecommunications planning, design, operations, maintenance, and resource allocation.
- Consult with others on telecommunications policies, technical problems, priorities, and methods.
Team and Operational Duties
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, discipline, motivation, and coaching.
- Build positive working relationships and support the team in reaching common goals.
- Follow company policies, protect company assets, and maintain quality and safety standards.
- Identify and implement improvements in efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost savings.
