Position Summary
Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
Identify guest reservation needs, determine room types, verify availability, and explain applicable rates and policies.
Provide accurate information about hotel facilities, services, accommodations, and special requests.
Core Responsibilities
- Accommodate and document special requests and enter correct reservation codes and rates in the reservation system.
- Use sales techniques to maximize revenue and follow escalation procedures for guest concerns.
- Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and provide professional telephone communication.
- Maintain confidentiality, protect privacy and company assets, comply with quality standards, and support team goals.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
Preferred Qualifications
- A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
- No related work experience is required.
- No supervisory experience is required.
- No license or certification is required.
