The Role
Oversee day-to-day receiving and dispatch operations so goods are received, checked, stored, prepared, and dispatched according to company standards.
Coordinate with Supply Chain, Warehouse, Procurement, Production, Operations, and other departments to maintain accuracy, efficiency, and service levels.
Receiving, Storage, and Dispatch Duties
- Supervise daily operations in the Receiving, Stockroom, Picking, Staging, and Dispatch areas.
- Inspect incoming products for quantity, quality, condition, expiry dates, batch details, and temperature.
- Verify received items against LPO or purchase orders, delivery documents, and approved product specifications.
- Register received stock accurately in the inventory system and move it to the appropriate storage area.
- Store chilled, frozen, and ambient products under the required temperature and storage conditions.
- Organize and secure central kitchen stockrooms, with appropriate cleanliness, labeling, and FIFO/FEFO rotation.
- Monitor stock movements, transfers, issues, returns, and variances, and support physical counts and reconciliation.
- Plan and manage daily dispatches to restaurants, cloud kitchen locations, and external clients.
