What You'Ll Do

  • Ensure all products meet established quality, safety, and consistency standards.
  • Conduct systematic quality checks throughout production process, develop and refine recipes, and maintain compliance with Dubai Municipality food safety regulations.
  • Act as gatekeeper for product quality and food safety integrity.
  • Conduct systematic quality inspections at each production stage (ingredient receiving, prep, assembly, packaging
  • Inspect incoming ingredients for freshness, quality defects, and supplier specification compliance
  • Frequently check the specifications of products to align with SOP
  • Monitor and document Critical Control Points (temperature logs, metal detection, cooling times), implementing HACCP
  • Conduct allergen audits to prevent cross-contamination between products
  • Reject non-conforming products and document quality failures with root cause analysis
  • Conduct daily sanitation audits of workstations, equipment, and staff hygiene compliance
  • Train staff on proper food handling techniques, portion control, and quality standards
  • Liaise with Dubai Municipality inspectors during facility audits and inspections
  • Maintain quality control logs, HACCP documentation, and traceability records
  • Report quality trends and improvement recommendations to management
  • Perform shelf-life testing and monitor expiration date accuracy on packaged products
  • Conduct supplier evaluations and ingredient quality assessments

Training

  • Dubai Municipality Food Safety Training certification (Level 2 or higher required)
  • HACCP certification (must have prior Municipality experience)
  • Culinary training or food science background preferred
  • In-house training on company recipe standards and quality benchmarks
  • Allergen management and cross-contamination prevention protocols
