The Opportunity The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading production teams in a fast-paced environment overseeing the conversion of biomass into finished goods, while ensuring quality standards are met at every step.

This role leads and mentors Production Technicians and contract labour, drives compliance with safety and quality standards.

The Production Supervisor is a hands-on leader who fosters a safe, efficient, and high performing production floor while helping elevate manufacturing practices to deliver exceptional products.

• Monitor and mentor production technicians and contract labor to ensure production lines run efficiently and product is completed on time and within spec to avoid delays and lost revenue potential.
• Organize and lead production Technicians, contract labor, and floor changeovers across milling, blending and pre-roll assembly operations.
• Oversee documentation and KPI tracking for each room's activities, including downtime, hourly run rates, and continuous improvement projects; escalate to relevant departments (e.g., maintenance) as needed.
• Track and report Time & Attendance for the contract labor team.
• Complete and verify daily production reports using the ERP system to ensure information is accurate and up to date.
• Track and record consumption usage properly to avoid increased cost to the business.
• Check inventory and consumption reports regularly.
• Act as subject-matter expert for your area by conducting Gemba walks, sustaining 5S assessments, and applying Continuous Improvement/LEAN principles to increase cost savings.
