Job Purpose
Responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing digital systems and platforms that support public water transport operations, ensuring seamless integration of digital tools, improved system efficiency, and the advancement of digital transformation initiatives across the fleet, stations, and overall passenger experience.

Core Responsibilities
- Act as the focal point for digital solutions within PWT operations, coordinating with vendors and implementing optimal systems such as ticketing, fleet management, and crew management platforms.
- Work closely with the Digital Team to troubleshoot and maintain digital infrastructure, including cloud‑based and on‑premise systems.
- Collaborate with internal departments to identify digital requirements and recommend solutions, including passenger information systems, tariff optimization for new routes, and digital signage for existing and upcoming stations.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational digital standards.
- Monitor system performance and implement enhancements to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Provide technical support and training to on‑site operational teams.
- Document system configurations, updates, workflows, and procedures.
- Stay informed about emerging digital technologies and industry trends to support continuous improvement.
- Assist in digital transformation initiatives and support change‑management activities across PWT operations.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for system upgrades, maintenance, and technical support.
- Enhance passenger experience by recommending digital improvements that elevate service quality and satisfaction levels.
People Management Responsibilities
- Provides guidance and technical support to operational teams, ensuring effective adoption of digital tools, clear communication, and adherence to digital standards and best practices.
Strategic Responsibilities
- Supports the strategic advancement of PWT operations by driving digital innovation, optimizing system capabilities, and contributing to long‑term digital transformation initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing digital systems within marine or transport operations.
- Professional certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or CompTIA Network+ are considered an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and apply customer data effectively.
- Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast‑paced operational environment.
- Proven ability to enhance passenger experience by identifying operational improvements and proposing customer‑centric digital solutions.
