About the Role

Responsibilities
- Arrange day to day operations and monitor truck utilization
- Verify packing lists and coordinate the required number and type of vehicles, executing tasks with the team
- Ensure all fleet requirements from clients and coordinators are met promptly and efficiently
- Arrange necessary trucks, manpower, and equipment before loading shipments, ensuring safe cargo handling
- Manage outsourced trucks and oversee their operations
- Issue delivery notes and ensure timely, accurate submission and job closure
- Submit all required documents (e.g., port delivery notes, payment receipts) after shipment delivery
- Maintain strong client relationships, providing necessary documents and reports
- Develop and maintain performance metrics, work schedules, and monitor delivery timelines
- Respond to customer follow ups, address delivery efficiency, and handle justified complaints
Requirements
- Graduate, preferably with diplomas in logistics / shipping / export
- Diploma or College degree Educated
- Good reading, writing and arithmetic skills and basic communication in English
- Work experience required: 3 4 years working experience in logistics or supply chain
- Ability to work flexible hours and in shifts required
- Proficiency in transportation management systems or logistics software
- Previous experience in transportation, logistics, or administrative roles is an advantage
- Knowledge of transport regulations and safety standards

Job Purpose
- The Supervisor Land Freight is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the daily operations of land freight within the logistics cluster.
