Position Overview
Housekeeping supervisor role in the Housekeeping and Laundry department at Le Méridien in Makkah.
The position is full time, non-management, and not remote.
Housekeeping Operations
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and the pool after cleaning to confirm quality standards.
- Prepare room-availability reports, verify room status, resolve discrepancies with the front desk, and prioritize cleaning.
- Coordinate housekeeping activities with engineering, front office, and laundry.
- Update assignment sheets or work boards, communicate issues to the next shift, and complete paperwork.
People and Safety Responsibilities
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching.
- Follow safety and security policies, report maintenance issues, hazards, accidents, and injuries, and complete safety training.
- Maintain confidentiality, professional appearance, quality standards, and respectful teamwork.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is listed as desirable.
- At least 1 year of related work experience is listed as desirable.
