Position Summary
Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and pool areas after cleaning to ensure quality standards.
Assist Housekeeping management in managing daily housekeeping activities.
Coordinate Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Run sold-room reports, verify room status, identify discrepant rooms, and prioritize room cleaning.
- Update departing guest room statuses and resolve discrepancies with the Front Desk.
- Prepare, distribute, and communicate room assignment changes and next-shift issues.
- Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
- Complete paperwork and report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, and injuries.
- Follow company, safety, security, quality, appearance, confidentiality, and guest service standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related work experience.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
- No license or certification is specified.
Work Conditions
- The position is located at the Delta Hotels property on Al Salam Street in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
- The role requires lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, and standing, sitting, kneeling, or walking for extended periods.
- The role requires using computers or point-of-sale systems and reading information in various formats.
