Position purpose
Assist and enable employees to achieve product and service delivery standards and a high degree of guest care.
Ensure restaurant services comply with policies, procedures, established standards, and budgetary controls.
Supervise and head restaurant service operations during assigned shifts to support customer satisfaction, cost efficiency, and profitability.
Essential functions
- Conduct pre-shift and departmental communication meetings covering occupancy, menu changes, schedules, and assignments.
- Monitor team duty schedules and coordinate with Guest Relations, Front Office, and other service departments.
- Prepare mise-en-place for 24-hour service requirements and report maintenance or cleanliness issues.
- Handle payroll attendance, service complaints, keys, and access cards as assigned.
- Maintain excellent menu knowledge and attend regular training sessions.
- Support service and product ideas and assist with training new team members.
- Provide direct guest service, order delivery, bussing, cashiering, and service support when required.
Knowledge and abilities
- Good verbal and written communication skills are required.
