Position Summary

Technical Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, perform preventive maintenance on, and recommend replacement of tools, appliances, and equipment.
• Calibrate controls, gauges, and meters.
• Identify, locate, and operate shut-off valves.
• Order, mark, and stock parts and supplies.
• Maintain inventory and purchase order logs.
• Inspect tools, equipment, and machines and enter work-related information using computers.
• Operate power lifts.
• Complete the life-safety checklist, including fire-pump and generator run tests.
• Inspect fire sprinkler valves and alarm systems.
• Assist with disaster response protocol development.
• Respond to guest repair requests.

Team and Service Duties

• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Follow company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
• Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, and injuries.
• Complete required safety training and certifications.
• Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.
• Develop positive working relationships and support team goals.
• Identify and implement ways to improve efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost savings.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical, trade, or vocational school degree is preferred.
• At least 2 years of related work experience is preferred.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience is preferred.
• No license or certification is listed as required.

Physical and Communication Requirements

• Communicate with others using clear and professional language.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and move up and down stairs or service ramps.
