Process customer purchases accurately and provide efficient service at the checkout.
Work in a busy supermarket environment while handling transactions and customer communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Scan and process customer purchases accurately.
- Accept cash, card, and other approved payment methods.
- Provide customers with receipts and handle change accurately.
- Answer routine customer questions and provide assistance when required.
- Maintain an organized and clean checkout area.
- Report pricing, payment, or transaction discrepancies to the appropriate supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic numeracy and cash-handling skills.
- Good communication and customer service abilities.
- Accurate, attentive, and reliable approach.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
- Previous cashier or retail experience is preferred.
