About the Role
A global energy maritime logistics leader is seeking a Superintendent, Technical for Projects to oversee shipbuilding, acquisition, repair, and conversion projects, including FSRU conversion of Moss type LNG vessels.

Responsibilities
- Implement, plan, direct, coordinate and control the functions and activities of Shipping Projects (Shipbuilding, Acquisition, Repair, Modification)
- Spearhead the design and approval process of FSRU Conversion of Moss type LNG Vessels
- Plan and organize the allocated project management of FSRU Conversion of Moss type LNG
- Implement and monitor projects across the fleet, ensuring compliance with international maritime regulations
- Conduct contract creation/development/execution for life extension and conversion works for Moss type LNG
- Provide technical expertise and advice to Management/Clients on project related matters
- Remotely manage shipbuilding, acquisition, repair dry docking, modification projects from initial phase to completion
- Build and maintain strong relationships with shipyards, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Remotely oversee ship conversion projects, ensuring smooth transitions and upgrades
- Ensure company Codes of Practice is followed
- Assist VP Projects in creating budget and support projects department in various tasks
Requirements
- 5 to 10 years of Managerial experience with knowledge of FSRU conversion related project execution and management
- Project Manager experience for FSRU Conversion
- Moss type LNG conversion experience
- Design experience in dealing with LNG engineering partners and equipment makers
- Contract creation/development/execution for life extension and conversion works
- Planning and Management skills, effective oral and written English languages, Communication and Administration skills
- Knowledge of Project Management tools, concepts, and principles
- Proficiency in Arabic

About The Job

- Conduct various contract creation/development/execution for life extension and conversion works for Moss type LNG.
- Provides technical expertise and advice to Management/Clients on various project related matters.
- Remotely manages shipbuilding, Acquisition, Repair Dry Docking, Modification Projects, from initial phase to completion.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with shipyards, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Remotely oversee ship conversion projects, ensuring smooth transitions and upgrades.
- Ensuring company Codes of Practice is followed.
Key Accountabilities
- Functions as the Superintendent, Projects (Shipping) for the ship(s) project(s) design and construction covering all phases.
- Develop and implement all fleet wide projects that align with International Maritime Organization (IMO) targets and global standards.
- Creates Business case submittal and discusses details with end user departments.
- Monitors, advises and motivates the Project(s) Management Team(s).
- Monitors, directs, supervises, and controls the Project(s) Management Team(s) and participates in providing estimates for budgeting.
- Assist to oversee and govern the entire process of new ship construction, from conceptual design to delivery.
- Oversee and govern the entire process of ship conversion projects.
- Reviews development of cost estimate and schedules related to the project(s).
- Monitors the implementation of the total budget, schedules, and quality at various stages.
- Reviews the performance of the ship builders, yards, contractors, consultants.
- Coordinates the preparation of the Tender Documentation and Contract Documentation.
- Ensures that contracted parties submit documents and reports timely.
Minimum Requirements
- Qualification of 5 to 10 years of Managerial experience with knowledge of FSRU conversion related project execution and management.
- Experience of Project Manager experience for FSRU Conversion.
- Moss type LNG conversion experience.
- Knowledge & Skills of Design experience in dealing with LNG engineering partners and equipment makers.
- Knowledge & Skills of Contract creation/development/execution for life extension and conversion works.
Preferred Qualification
- Possible New building site experience in China and/or Korea.
- Possible Basic knowledge of Korean and/or Mandarin.
Professional Skills
- Planning and Management skills, effective oral and written English languages, Communication and Administration skills.
- Knowledge of Project Management tools, concepts, and principle.
- Proficiency in Arabic.
