Responsibilities
- Lead the formulation of optimal capital structures and support raising of required debt through multiple instruments
- Evaluate company and Group investment proposals, undertake feasibility studies and review financing requirements
- Appraise financing opportunities and options available in international financial markets
- Develop and present alternative options for re financing and debt restructuring
- Assist in the establishment and maintenance of a credit rating for the company
- Coordinate analyses of balance sheets and evaluate impact of management plans on financial structures
- Develop and maintain economic models for financial evaluation of projects and investments
- Monitor long term funding requirements and prepare payment commitment schedules
- Maintain working relationships with key internal and external parties relevant to Treasury
- Oversee raising of required debt through Bank Financing, Structured Financing, and Debt Capital Markets
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or equivalent
- 12 years of professional experience in Financing or Accounting related positions
- Professional accounting qualifications: CTP, CIMA, CFA or equivalent
- Very good knowledge of English
- Experience in relevant computer systems

Job Purpose
- Lead the formulation of rigorous financial structures through evaluating investment proposals, appraising financing opportunities, and implementing innovative financing in line with company Financing Strategy and Policy.
Key Accountabilities
- Support negotiations for establishment of new companies with objective of formulating rigorous financial structures and financing arrangements.
- Evaluate company and Group investment proposals, undertake feasibility studies and review financing requirements.
- Appraise financing opportunities and options available in international financial markets and identify concessionary financing programs.
- Develop and present alternative options for re financing and debt restructuring opportunities.
- Provide advisory services to Group Company CFOs on capital structuring and financing decisions.
- Assist in establishment and maintenance of a credit rating for company.
- Lead analysis and recommendation of innovative financing solutions to meet project funding requirements.
- Support implementation of investment strategies including joint ventures, spin offs, and M&A.
- Maintain view of capital structure and financing costs across the whole Group.
- Coordinate analyses of balance sheets and evaluate impact of management plans on financial structures.
- Develop and maintain economic models for financial evaluation of projects and investments.
- Monitor long term funding requirements and prepare schedule of payment commitments for next five years.
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or equivalent.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
- 12 years of professional experience in Financing or Accounting related positions.
- Very good knowledge of English. Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
- Experience in relevant computer systems.
Professional Certifications
- Professional accounting qualifications: CTP, CIMA, CFA or equivalent.
Work Condition
- Minimal physical effort.
- Normal office environment with regular visits to sites and offices of Group Companies.
