Superintendent, Geotechnical

As Geotechnical Superintendent, you will play a strategic role in enhancing mine safety, stability, and operational performance. You will be responsible for leading and executing initiatives related to ground control, seismicity, geotechnical modelling, and paste fill systems. Working closely with Engineering, Geology, and Operations teams, you will drive innovation, foster growth, and enhance overall technical performance at the Young-Davidson Mine.

10+ years of experience in underground hard rock mining, with expertise in rock mechanics and ground control.

Proven track record in leading teams and improving mine safety and performance.

Sc. in Mining Engineering and P.Eng. designation in Ontario.

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Experience with Deswik, Map3D, and other geotechnical software, along with advanced Excel capabilities.

Passion for safe, efficient, and innovative underground mining practices.
