Substation Project Manager

Minimum 5 years of project management experience within high-voltage electrical construction, substations, utilities, industrial, or EPC environments

Proven experience managing complex electrical infrastructure or utility construction projects from award through completion

Strong understanding of construction contracts, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, project controls, and commercial management

Experience managing subcontractors, procurement, customer relationships, change management, and commercial risk

Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Project Management, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, trade certification, and relevant industry experience

Trade certification or apprenticeship in an electrical, utility, construction, or related skilled trade is considered an asset

Strong knowledge of high-voltage substations, utility construction practices, commissioning, switching, and outage coordination

Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is considered an asset

Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills

Strong financial and commercial acumen with experience managing project budgets and profitability

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, ERP systems, and project management software is considered an asset

Valid Class G Driver's Licence with the ability to travel regularly throughout Ontario
