We are seeking an experienced Substation Electrical Engineering Manager to join our highly skilled and rapidly growing team to oversee the delivery of complex substation projects within our portfolio in Western Canada. In this leadership role, you will manage a diverse team of Electrical Engineers and Designers and drive technical excellence and successful execution of substation related engineering activities from project conception to completion.
Your role
- Team Leadership : Provide leadership and management of a team of Electrical Engineers and Designers, including work assignments and coordination, team mentoring and training, and resource development and management.
- Technical Leadership : Provide technical leadership and supervision to the team on electrical substation design and engineering. Plan, organize, schedule and direct engineering activities for substation projects to ensure safe, efficient engineered solutions that comply with regulatory code requirements, utility standards, safety and quality standards, and industry best practices.
- Client Collaboration : Develop and maintain strong client relationship and lead technical coordination and collaboration with key client representatives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with other multi-disciplinary teams and other Business Units to align planning and delivery of High Voltage (HV) substation projects.
