Job Summary
- The Student Affairs & Engagement Specialist plays a key role in enriching the student experience by designing, implementing, and evaluating engagement initiatives.
- The position leads student life programs, including student councils, clubs, events, orientation, volunteerism, and cultural activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and oversee student councils, clubs, and organizations
- Create and coordinate a diverse range of activities, workshops, and events
- Maintains broad working relationships with students, staff personnel, and academic personnel
- Monitor student engagement trends and recommend improvements
- Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the student journey
- Oversee student inquiries via emails, calls, and personal meetings
- Create engaging and impactful events
- Provide advisory support to student leaders
- Compile reports and data as needed
- Analyze data and feedback to identify areas for enhancement
- Monitor club performance and participation levels
- Promote student affairs initiatives through various communication channels
Qualifications & Experience
- Three (3) years of related experience in student affairs, Student Engagement, and Youth Development programs in higher education
- Bachelor's degree in Student Affairs, Education, Business Administration, Psychology, Human Resources, Communications, or a related field
- Master's degree is preferred
