Job Summary

  • The College of Media and Public Relations at Liwa University is inviting applicants for positions of Assistant Professor in Communication (specialization in Public Relations & Institutional and Government Communication).
  • The successful candidate is expected to start in Fall 2027.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in teaching theoretical and practical courses in Public Relations & Institutional and Government Communication.
  • Teach other communication courses as per college needs.
  • Provide academic advising to students.
  • Perform college, community, and professional service.
  • Assist in the continued development and promotion of the program.

Competencies

  • Notable track record of teaching and scholarship in internationally recognized and peer reviewed publications, especially in Scopus indexed journals or Arcif indexed Arabic journals.
  • Ability to use Artificial Intelligence applications in teaching is required.
  • Proficiency in digital media tools and social media management is desirable.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. holder in Communication with a specialization in Public Relations & Institutional and Government Communication.
  • Fluency in spoken and written Arabic and English.
  • Minimum three years’ teaching experience in Public Relations and Institutional and Government Communication in an institution of higher learning.
  • Minimum one year professional experience in Public Relations & Institutional and Government Communication.
