Role overview
Join Dillon’s Transportation Structures team as a Structural Engineering Graduate.
Support preliminary and detailed design for bridges and culverts on Ministry of Transportation and municipal projects.
The position is based at the Kingston or Ottawa offices and offers flexible work hours and hybrid work arrangement options.
Technical work
- Assist project managers with structural and multidisciplinary projects.
- Assist with building, bridge, culvert, and marine design, including engineering studies, technical specifications, and design calculations.
- Complete design activities to maintain schedules and support successful project completion.
- Assist with site investigations and condition assessments.
- Support contract administration through construction observation, shop drawing and contractor submittal review, progress payment preparation, and responses to information requests.
- Review safe work practices and perform risk assessments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members.
Business development and learning
- Research client needs and help prepare project proposals and presentations.
