About the Role

Responsibilities
- Assist Resident Engineer in supervising construction and maintenance of bridges/viaducts
- Review shop drawings, design proposals, and method statements
- Coordinate with design engineers for resolution of related issues
- Maintain daily diary and daily reports
- Coordinate with contractor engineers on scheduling and resource application
- Direct, assist, and monitor performance of inspectors and surveyors
- Convene and chair special meetings with service authorities, contractor, subcontractors
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of records
- Ensure safety goals are achieved and oversee implementation of safety procedures
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports
- Check and measure performed work, record and display progress vs. programmed work
- Ensure correctness and completeness of as built drawings
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university
- Minimum 5 years experience in construction supervision of operation and maintenance of bridges and underpass
- Ability to review and justify material submissions, analyze laboratory and technical reports
- Fully computer literate with project specific engineering software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

What You'll Be Doing
