Role Overview
The company is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer in Dubai.
The role covers structural design, authority submissions, site supervision and coordination to support safe, compliant and efficient project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review steel structural designs, calculations and drawings for residential and commercial projects.
- Prepare and review non-structural drawings.
- Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, Trakhees and other relevant authority requirements.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers and other consultants.
- Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals and method statements.
- Conduct regular site inspections and provide technical support during construction.
- Identify and resolve structural design and site-related issues.
- Assist with authority approvals and respond to authority comments.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards and safety regulations.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is mandatory.
- Minimum five years of relevant experience, preferably in Dubai or the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of UAE building codes and authority approval processes.
- Proficiency in ETABS, SAFE, STAAD or an equivalent structural design software tool.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Valid UAE driving licence is mandatory.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with consultancy firms in Dubai.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
