Job Summary
LITCO Industries is looking for an experienced Structural Engineer / Design Engineer to join our engineering team in the UAE.
The candidate will be responsible for structural analysis, design, engineering drawings, detailing, and technical coordination for structural steel and metalwork projects.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in structural steel design, fabrication drawings, engineering calculations, and coordination with production and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review structural designs, calculations, drawings, and technical documents for steel structures and metalwork.
- Perform structural analysis and design in accordance with applicable international standards and project specifications.
- Prepare structural GA drawings, fabrication/shop drawings, connection details, and design documentation.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, project engineers, production, and fabrication teams.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project requirements.
- Ensure designs are practical and suitable for fabrication, erection, and site installation.
- Coordinate closely with the production and fabrication teams to resolve technical and design-related issues.
- Review and approve shop/fabrication drawings and provide technical clarifications when required.
- Conduct design checks and identify potential clashes, discrepancies, and constructability issues.
