Role Overview
Structural Draftsman responsible for preparing accurate structural and reinforcement drawings from structural engineers’ designs, calculations, and specifications.
The role coordinates drawings with engineering, architectural, and MEP teams for construction use.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare structural drawings for reinforced concrete and steel structures.
- Develop plans, sections, elevations, details, and reinforcement drawings.
- Prepare structural shop and fabrication drawings.
- Convert engineers’ sketches and designs into detailed CAD or BIM drawings.
- Coordinate structural drawings with architectural and MEP drawings.
- Revise drawings based on engineer, consultant, and client comments.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and applicable codes.
- Maintain drawing standards, revisions, and document control.
- Coordinate with site engineers and construction teams when required.
- Assist structural engineers with drafting and detailing requirements.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of structural drafting and construction detailing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit Structure or Tekla knowledge is advantageous.
- Understanding of reinforced concrete and structural steel detailing.
- Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and specifications.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under deadlines and coordinate with multiple disciplines.
Education and Experience
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience as a Structural Draftsman is preferred.
- Experience in GCC or UAE construction projects is advantageous.
Compensation
- Pay is listed as AED 2,352.21 to AED 6,000 per month.

- Work location is in person.
