- Influence and align Product, Marketing, and Sales teams on growth strategies, including GTM approaches for new products and platforms
- Present insights and strategic recommendations to leadership, including Strategic Plans and Opportunity Proposals
- Engage customers and industry stakeholders through executive briefings, customer councils, industry events, working groups, and media engagements
- Lead strategic partnerships and contribute to M&A strategy and execution aligned with Building Engineering priorities
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in MEP design and/or Structural engineering
- 10+ years of related experience across engineering and business roles, including strategy, technology, or consulting
- Demonstrated experience in business planning, strategic visioning, and industry thought leadership
- Strategy or management consulting experience (top tier firm or equivalent) preferred
- Strong proficiency in developing executive level presentations and performing advanced data analysis
- Proven ability to drive outcomes in a matrixed organization through cross functional collaboration
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience presenting to senior executives and engaging with customers, partners, and industry leaders
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, or related field); MBA a plus
- Willingness to travel 20 30% for customer and industry engagement

Position Overview
- Autodesk is seeking a Building Engineering Strategy Manager to join the AEC Design Strategy team, supporting the Building Engineering business across North America, encompassing both MEP systems and Structural engineering.
- This role requires a strategic, action oriented leader who can navigate ambiguity, identify growth opportunities, and drive execution.
- You will help define the long term industry vision, validate market opportunities, and lead initiatives that bring Autodesk's next generation platforms into core building engineering workflows.

- Demonstrated experience in business planning, strategic visioning, and industry thought leadership
- Strategy or management consulting experience (top tier firm or equivalent) preferred
- Strong proficiency in developing executive level presentations and performing advanced data analysis

Salary Transparency
- For Canada based roles, expected starting base salary between CAD 103,000 and CAD 150,700.
- Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
- Compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
