Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing and procurement strategies
- Manage supplier identification, qualification, negotiations, and contract administration
- Lead Material Resource Planning (MRP) activities to ensure uninterrupted material availability
- Coordinate procurement requirements with Production, Operations, Logistics, and Finance teams
- Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock while minimizing carrying costs
- Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and procurement costs
- Identify and implement cost saving initiatives without compromising quality and service
- Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, spare parts, and indirect purchases
- Prepare procurement reports, spend analysis, and KPI dashboards
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and governance standards
Requirements
- 8 10 years of experience in strategic sourcing and procurement
- Experience in a production or livestock industry preferred
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Proficiency in MRP and inventory management systems
- Analytical skills for market trends and cost analysis
