Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair faults in display chillers, fridges, freezers, and coolers
- Perform preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns and increase equipment life span
- Install new cooling equipment at retail or market locations
- Conduct system tests and performance checks after repairs
- Recharge refrigerants, replace compressors, thermostats, and other cooling components
- Maintain accurate service logs, repair records, and maintenance schedules
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
- Respond to emergency breakdown calls promptly
- Coordinate with the spare parts team to ensure required materials are available
- Report recurring issues to supervisors for long term solutions
