Job Summary
The Supervisor is primarily responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, organizing, and controlling the flow of all materials in and out of the Stores.
The role also oversees and manages all shipment, customs clearance, and forwarding activities to ensure smooth, timely, and compliant logistics operations.
As part of a critical function supporting the UAE’s defence manufacturing sector, this position offers valuable hands‑on experience in a high‑growth, high‑impact industry.

Key Accountabilities
- Work under the supervision of the Team Leader, SCM to facilitate daily Stores operations of explosive and Non explosive stores
- Responsible to handle goods, components, ammunitions, explosives and hazardous materials only after thorough on-the-job training and knowledge of handling the concerned material
- Ensuring Explosive Limits of Stores where explosives / ammunition are stored are stored within allowed explosive limits
- Receiving all incoming shipments – Imports & Local Deliveries by offloading using Forklifts and other requisite Equipment
- Ensure material handling is efficient and effective and in line with company policies and procedure
- Inspect items as to quality and quantity against shipment documentation
- Count, weigh and verify goods received or issued
- Enter data into stock/inventory control systems, and participate in bi-annual physical stock taking
- Ensure all transactions are posted in AX wherein physical vs system stock is matching at all times
- Ensure on time delivery of materials to Production without any delay so that production requirements are met at all times
- Delivery high quality of operational excellence including store appearance, cleanliness, stock control, transportation and safety and security of people and assets
- Ensure the accuracy of store allocation & storage of explosives and components
- Ensure HSE Objectives and Guidelines are met and subsequent audit requirements are adhered
- Ensure that all ammunition, explosives and explosive components are transported in accordance to legal requirements and Company Health & Safety Policies and Procedures
- Supporting and managing the staffs to execute shipment, custom clearance and forwarding activities
- Ensure timely clearance of all import and Export shipments
- Ensure MOD & GHQ arrangements are coordinated smoothly and necessary approvals obtained, especially towards explosive and ammunition shipments
- Ensure Zero Demurrage / Storage Payments for all import shipments
- Preparation of Stores & Logistics Budget and creation and updating of Stores & Logistics Procedure and supply chain Policy
- Ensure Third Party ammunition are stored and monitored / recorded and tracked periodically.
- HSE Roles and Responsibilities:
- comply with reasonable OSH instructions and safe working procedures;
- use of appropriate personal protective equipment and safety systems;
- be familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures;
- not willfully or recklessly endanger anyone's health and safety;
- assist with the preparation of risk assessments; and
- report OSH hazards, incidents, and issues
Experience & Educational Qualifications
- Certified Warehouse & Logistics qualification or training
- Minimum three to six years of experience in Warehousing and Logistics
- Understanding the confidentiality matters pertaining to Procurement & Supplier Qualifications
