Role Overview
Manage the receipt, storage, inventory control, and issuance of raw inputs for manufacturing operations.
Maintain stock accuracy, food safety, cold-chain compliance, and warehouse safety.
Receiving and Inspection
- Inspect incoming raw materials and packaging against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Verify packaging integrity, batch and lot details, Certificates of Analysis, and receiving temperatures.
- Unload materials safely and perform preliminary physical checks before system entry.
Inventory and Storage
- Apply FIFO and FEFO stock rotation and control batch, lot, and expiry dates.
- Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Monitor temperature and environmental conditions in cold rooms, freezers, and ambient warehouse zones.
- Segregate food ingredients, allergens, packaging, and food-grade sanitation chemicals.
ERP and Production Support
- Record receipts, issues, internal transfers, and returns accurately in the ERP or WMS.
- Issue raw materials to production against approved requisitions to maintain manufacturing flow.
Safety and Housekeeping
- Enforce food safety, GWP, HACCP, 5S housekeeping, EHS, safe manual handling, and equipment operation standards.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of general warehouse experience in raw materials warehousing.
- Experience in food and beverage, FMCG, cold chain, or meat processing.
- Hands-on ERP or WMS experience, including systems such as SAP, Oracle, or a dedicated WMS.
- Working knowledge of FIFO/FEFO, lot traceability, food safety, and EHS rules.
- High School Diploma or Logistics Diploma is preferred.
- Certified Forklift Operator license is a strong plus.
